Part of the experience is understanding where our amazing food comes from and getting a feel for how a working farm runs.

Short Farm Tours

Come and meet our farm animals, and find out how we look after and rear them.

Our 1-hour farm tours provide an opportunity to meet and feed the animals on the farm. Each farm tour is unique, and varies depending on what kind of seasonal things are happening on the farm. Our sows often have litters of piglets who need to be fed; and our Shetland pony, Rolo, enjoys getting provided with tasty hay. We also have cattle, chickens, llamas and our infamous pygmy goats, who often come along on the farm tour!

The start time to every Tour is very flexible. Just let us know you wish to start at a different time and we'll make sure it happens.

Brilliant stay at the folly! Tucked away in seclusion, only the birds and lambs to be heard. Close to local attractions, and some great pubs. Jim was really helpful with directions and anything else we needed. We highly recommend staying.

Girlfriend brought me here for the weekend for my birthday and we both had an amazing time. The yurt was really spacious and had everything we needed in there, the bed and bedding were really comfortable and with the wood burner and fairy lights on the room felt really cosy.

We came here today for lunch after a walk in the Dales with our girls. Whilst there our littlest Katie trip over, bumped her head and grazed her knee in the courtyard. Within minutes the staff were all round her with damp cloths, plasters and lollipops!!! Thank you, Thank you Thank you! Katie is fine, just milking it and having us run around after her!! Overall our experience was lovely, the food was spot on, the kids loved seeing the animals and have already asked to go back and do the walk to the waterfall. Once again, Thank you very much!
