The light filtering through the canvas of your off-grid yurt wakes you more gently than any alarm clock. Open the door and see the rolling Yorkshire Dales from your bed or, if it’s early and you fancy pitching in, join the farmer’s rounds and meet the llamas, goats, cows, pigs and sheep that call the farm home

Rowan Yurt

The highest site and most secluded, situated in the east end (right side) of the wood

Being the highest means you have the best view across Wensleydale to Bolton Castle - famous for imprisoning Mary Queen of Scots in 1568 - which often dazzles in lights at night.

Hazel Yurt

A private enclosure, first on the right as you approach the wood

Our Hazel Yurt has views up to Pen Hill and plenty of barns, stone walls and farm activity to take in. You'll feel like you are staying in the only yurt in Wensleydale! Hazel is also our dog-friendly yurt, featuring a fully enclosed living space.

Oak Yurt

Spectacular 360-degree views of Wensleydale

Oak is situated to the West End of the wood. The cows live just across from Oak and you are nicely tucked away in a newly created corner of the wood.

BEECH YURT

Farm views, and the first on the left

Tucked in at the foot of the forest, Beech is our newest yurt surrounded by lush young trees and plants, with a beautiful dry stone wall made by hand using traditional Wensleydale techniques to the front. With stunning views across our fields, there will be cows and sheep a-plenty.
