The Temple is an 18th Century Grade II listed folly in its own small copse on the north side of the Leyburn to Hawes road in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The accommodation is very compact, comprising of two octagonal rooms connected by a stone staircase and outside balcony.

The Temple enjoys magnificent views across Wensleydale to Bolton Castle (which is floodlit at night) to the north and the Lower Force at Aysgarth Falls to the west.

Easy to find, close to the main road, yet very secluded with high trees and wall. The nearest villages are Aysgarth which is just over a mile away and West Witton which is 2 miles away.

Askrigg, Leyburn and Hawes are also within a short drive.
